Refund & Installment Policy

2. Installment Plan Terms & Default Policy

If you elect to split your purchase via our 6-month installment plan, you agree to a fixed 6-installment payment schedule:

• Installment Structure: Your payment method is charged once each month for a total of 6 consecutive monthly payments. Once the sixth payment is successfully settled, all billing concludes permanently. You own perpetual access to Orbit Cue.
• Not a Recurring Subscription: The installment plan is a deferred split-payment facility for the one-time purchase price, not an indefinite auto-renewing subscription. There are no ongoing renewal fees after month six.
• Managing Billing Details: You can update your payment method or view your installment history anytime via the secure Paddle Customer Portal link provided in every order confirmation and installment receipt email.
• Cancellation or Default on Installments: If a scheduled installment payment fails or if you choose to discontinue the installment plan before completing all six payments, further automated charges will be stopped. Because the permanent perpetual license requires full settlement of the purchase agreement, workspaces with incomplete installments will retain access only through the time period covered by the installments already settled.

3. European Union Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer residing within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you are entitled by law under Directive 2011/83/EU and the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums) to a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts without providing a reason.

4. 14-Day Free Trial & Discretionary Guarantee

We encourage all prospective customers to evaluate Orbit Cue thoroughly before purchasing:

• 14-Day Full-Feature Free Trial: We offer a 14-day free trial of the complete Orbit Cue workspace with no upfront credit card required. You can connect social networks, test scheduling workflows, adapt multi-channel content, and inspect publishing delivery audits risk-free before purchasing.
• Technical Defect Guarantee: If within 30 days of purchase a verified technical platform failure attributable directly to Orbit Cue prevents core publishing operations across your connected accounts and our engineering team cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, a full or pro-rated refund will be granted upon investigation.
• No Auto-Renewal Traps: Because Orbit Cue has no recurring software subscriptions, you will never be charged an accidental renewal fee or forgotten monthly charge.

5. Refund Processing & Payment Return

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all approved refunds are issued directly by Paddle:

• Refunds are credited back to the original payment instrument used for the transaction (Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Bank Wire).
• Bank processing times typically require 3 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your bank statement.
• Paddle will automatically issue an official Credit Note adjusting the original VAT/sales tax invoice.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We urge all customers to contact us directly at hello@orbitcue.app or Paddle’s customer support at help.paddle.com prior to initiating a bank chargeback or dispute. Most billing questions, duplicate receipts, or transaction inquiries can be resolved immediately without formal banking arbitration.
